We had one of the cheaper rooms, so were delighted to find air conditioning and a fridge and the room was really quite spacious. A nice view out over period houses, streets and gardens. Even though we were on the fourth floor, the water pressure and the shower were exceptionally good and the bath was very comfortable. The hotel was nicely decorated throughout and extremely clean. There was a lift - a bonus which not all hotels have! All the staff were wonderful, polite, efficient, chatty and extremely friendly. The receptionist even took us up to the fourth floor to take us to our room on our arrival. They went out of their way to be helpful and let us check in several hours early. We were also able to leave our luggage for the day after checking out. The hotel was only about a 12 minute, easy walk from Earl's Court underground station and was in quite a prestigious and quiet area. There was almost a village feel to the area near the station and we found a great pub on route to the hotel and had breakfast one morning in a little French patisserie/cafe. There are lots of little shops and eateries around. We walked to the Royal Albert Hall on our first night, stopping for dinner on the way, and then walked back, about a 20 - 25 minute walk. On the last day it was only about a 20 minute walk to the Natural History Museum. Underground links into central London were quick and easy.

The location of this hotel - in a quiet burb just south of Kensington Garden - was ideal for our first visit to London. The neighborhood is peaceful and historic, quiet and welcoming. We discovered many local gems and were able to walk to Notting Hill through beautiful pathways and trace the steps of Freddie Mercury. The Earls Court tube station is only a hundred meters away, and restaurants and shops abound in every direction. The staff - and the first one we met (Tamako) - were helpful, accommodating and friendly, as well as polite. The owner was present on our first morning at breakfast and made us feel very welcome, telling us more about the history of her place. We felt very safe and cared for at the hotel, with every request granted. It's also small enough to navigate and have access to rooms and amenities in just a few steps. There is a small outside sitting area adjacent to the old houses, and in good weather, this is quite pleasant. This hotel is frequented by people from all around the world, and it was wonderful to be in their company as well as among the international staff who took care of us.

I stayed with London Lodge Hotel for 7 nights in October 2024. The location is excellent; easy access to Earls Court and Kensington High Street underground stations. Very walkable to museums, parks, good restaurants and shopping. The front reception staff are exceptional, very kind, helpful and always smiling! My single room was cozy, quiet and extremely clean with a large modern bath. The hotel breakfast room was lovely and bright, offering a continental buffet breakfast featuring a wide variety of fresh fruits, juices, yogurt, cereals, meats, cheeses, pastries, bread and good coffee. The hotel always felt nice to 'come home to' after busy days sightseeing in London.

Beautiful small english hotel no fare to undegraund station with two lines e.g Picadilly line to Hetathrow airport and no fare to Kensington palace and parks. The nearest main street has a rich offer of fastfoods, restaurants and cofees, There are also 3 typical and friendly english pubs. Tho hotel offer luxory continental breakfest, great English breakfest could be order also. The room was very comfortable with quality bed and nice bathroom. The place is calm. The manager of hotel, she was very friendly, comunitave and helpful. Here was our the best accomodation kn London at least.
